It is our privilege to announce the annual International Mediation Competition will be held in the autumn of 2023, which is initiated and financially supported by the Weinstein International Foundation.
The Weinstein International Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 in the US, California. The foundation is dedicated to making mediation available and accessible worldwide in the face of increasing global challenges and conflict. The competition in Georgia is co-sponsored by the Law Firm J&T Consulting and EBA Mediation and Arbitration Center.
Mediation Writing Competition is held worldwide for the third time. The competition is unique due to its format, focusing on developing the written skills of mediation advocates. Participants will be asked to prepare mediation briefs as part of the competition.
The competition is being held in nine countries around the world led by Senior Fellows of the Weinstein International Foundation. I-IV year undergraduate students of accredited Law Schools in Georgia are eligible to participate in the competition.
The deadline for submitting the mediation brief is October 31, 2023, the winner will be announced on December 7. The winner will be chosen by a Panel of qualified mediators.
The national winner will be awarded USD 1,000 co-sponsored by the Weinstein International Foundation, Law Firm J&T Consulting, and EBA Mediation and Arbitration Center.
