Career: Simon Takashvili began his journey with "J&T Consulting" in 2014, advancing from Associate to Senior Associate and presently holding the esteemed position of a partner within the firm. He has garnered recognition from Legal500, a prestigious international legal firm rating organization, distinguishing him as a leading individual within the company.

Apart from his professional legal engagements, Simon actively delves into academia, contributing as an author to 25 scientific articles, publications, and monographs in both Georgian and English. He also serves as a co-author of commentaries on Georgia's Civil and Labor Codes. His involvement extends to participation in international and local academic conferences, where he contributes to financially supported research projects addressing a spectrum of contemporary legal issues.

Moreover, Simon has been actively involved in educational roles since 2016. His teaching experience spans positions as a lecturer at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Eastern European University, and Grigol Robakidze University until 2019. Since 2020, he has held the title of associate professor at Caucasus University, Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University, and Black Sea International University. Simon oversees master's and doctoral research projects and delivers lectures specializing in Private Law. Additionally, he serves as an appointed representative of the Universal Postal Union's postal service in Georgia, providing legal advice to the Director-General on pertinent legal matters.

Education:Simon acquired his legal education from the Faculty of Law at Tbilisi State University. In 2015, he successfully defended his Master's thesis, receiving a Master's degree in law. Subsequently, he pursued further academic pursuits by enrolling in the university's doctoral program in law. In 2019, Simon achieved success in defending his dissertation, centered on foreign investment protection, thereby attaining his Doctor of Laws degree. This substantial academic work was supported by the Shota Rustaveli Georgian National Science Foundation, drawing from research conducted at the Max-Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg.

Membership: Having passed the bar exam in private law in 2014, Simon became a member of the Georgian Bar Association. He continues to actively advocate for clients, both nationally and internationally, participating in court proceedings and arbitration.
