Mate received his legal education in 2009-2013 at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. In 2014 he earned the Master’s Degree at the University of Cologne (Joint Master Program of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the University of Cologne). In 2015 Mate was awarded with Master’s degree in Law at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Currently Mate is the Ph.D. Candidate at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
In 2013-2014 Mate was an Intern at Civil Cases Chamber of Tbilisi Appeal Court and at Tbilisi Arbitration Institute.
In 2015-2016 worked as a Lawyer for several financial organizations.
From January 2016 to August 2016 he worked as a Senior Associate at one of the Law Firms.
Mate attended multiple trainings, studying courses, conferences and summer schools. Mate has published around 10 articles on various problematic legal issues.
In 2018-2020 mate was a Visiting Lecturer at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Faculty of Law. Since 2020 he has been an Assistant at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University Faculty of Law.
In December 2014 he successfully passed the qualifying bar examination in private law.
Mate joined our team in August 2016. Currently he serves as a Senior Associate at J & T Consulting.
